It’s A Wrap…

The revolver jam is done and dusted. There was a lot of hype behind this event. I think every single person whether they where a Bmx rider or just straight up spectator walked out of there with a big smile on their face. The comp was setup with 20. 2-riders per each 7-minute jam with the top rider qualifying through to the next round until we had ourselves a winner or winners. Mitchell (macca) McDonald and Mike Vockenson where the last two standing and ended up splitting the $1000 between them. Thomas Fordyce walked away with $500 for Best Trick with a tailwhip over the rail, I’d say Matthew (tenna) Spencer would have been a close contender with a rail ride down the rail but Thomas came out top dog in the end. All in all it was a very exciting event. Most partied on until the sun came up and like myself will be feeling it on the drive home. Was super tight and intense in the nightclub so it was hard to get any photos but expect a full story and write up in the next edition of 2020 Bmx Mag. Defiantly a event to remember. Sorry about the shitty Iphone photos but Enjoy.

Jason Watts Hits Darwin

Recently Forgotten Team Rider Jason Watts traveled all the way to Darwin to participate in Mission Australia’s RIDE FOR LIFE day. The day was a huge success with the locals shredding and taking home some killer prizes. It was good to see such a strong BMX all the way up in Darwin and with a bit of luck the day will become an annual event.

A massive thanks to Jed from Mission Australia, Mitch from NT Elite Cycles, Paul from Spokes NT, Jamie and the boys from Stowaway, Triplesix and all the cool locals.
